Felt like ranting XD About: VAMPIRES D8

I really hate how the media has suddenly been spurting out vampire novels like the end of the world is coming DX

All right, here's the thing: before Twilight, practically NO books about supernatural lore and such were coming out. Suddenly Twlight prances in, and it's like half the world thinks it gave them the 'okay' to write shitty vampire novels >.>

For instance: The House of Night.

I picked up the first book, mainly because I wanted some new Vampire-ness added to my life, not the Twlight sort of thing. I read the whole book in about an hour and didn't like it very much. It seemed a lot like some shitty fanfiction written by some horny 12-year-old kid. It (just like Twilight) ripped apart the ways of the vampire. Though they PREFER not to go into sunlight, they still can, and crosses and such have no effect on them whatsoever, same for garlic and holy water. And they don't have fangs -.- All of the characters (also like Twlight) have NO personalities. Even I could write better, seriously D<

Then of course the media wants to make a friggin' movie out of every stupid-ass vampire book churned out.

Honestly, this is just annoying -_-

And also, these HoN vampires have a RELIGION too. C'mon, seriously? So an immortal being has a religion too now, hmm? They're supposed to be unholy demons of the night, not some sex-crazed person who worships some random Goddess.

And then they decided that males and females aren't EQUAL, the freakin' women are in charge instead! I'll bet you these goddamn vampires can reproduce too DX At least Twilight got SOMETHING right.

Now a Tilight thing that gets on my nerves: they sparkle. That right there turns me off. Honestly, SPARKLING??? They don't go into sunlight 'cuz they'll freaking burn up Stephenie Myer!!!
